Webamooz’s Fight Against Farzin Fardin Fard’s False DMCA Attempt
In the digital content landscape, issues of copyright infringement are complex and multifaceted, with legitimate creators frequently grappling with claims that can impact their work. Webamooz.com has recently confronted a series of questionable DMCA claims, underscoring the challenges faced by genuine online platforms. This report delves into two major claims against Webamooz.com and the subsequent actions taken to uphold content integrity.
Case 1: Ravioski Inc.’s DMCA Complaint to Google
On September 5, 2023, a DMCA complaint was lodged against Webamooz.com by Ravioski Inc., alleging unauthorized replication of its content, originally posted on the “nycchronicles[.]com – Archive” website. The complaint, submitted to Google LLC, prompted immediate scrutiny.

Investigation Findings:
Upon further investigation, several discrepancies came to light:
- Lack of Historical Record: “nycchronicles[.]com” showed no significant history in Google’s index or the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine, raising questions about its authenticity and operational legitimacy.
- Suspected Fraudulent Intent: Evidence suggested that “nycchronicles[.]com” may have been fabricated specifically to file false claims.
Outcome:
Webamooz.com countered Ravioski Inc.’s claim by presenting proof of content authenticity. Google, after evaluating the evidence, acknowledged the legitimacy of Webamooz’s content and reinstated the affected URLs.
Case 2: DMCA Complaint Filed with Cloudflare
In a separate incident, Cloudflare, a web security and performance company, received a DMCA notice from an individual named Will James, claiming to represent “DMCA NINJAS.” The notice alleged unauthorized use of copyrighted material by Webamooz.com and demanded immediate action.
Key Irregularities in the Claim:
- Unverifiable Existence: An investigation revealed that “DMCA NINJAS” did not appear to exist as a legitimate entity.
- Questionable Address Details: The address provided in the claim, allegedly linked to a “DMCA NINJAS” office in Lahore, Pakistan, was deemed unrelated to any authentic business.
Current Status:
Webamooz.com, collaborating with its hosting provider, has formally contested the claim’s legitimacy. As of the writing of this report, further proceedings are pending. However, the challenge raised by Webamooz has initiated a deeper review of the claim’s validity.
Webamooz.com’s encounters with these DMCA claims highlight a significant issue in the digital era: the misuse of copyright regulations to suppress legitimate content. While the DMCA is designed to protect creators, it can also be exploited for malicious purposes. By standing firm against these claims, Webamooz seeks to uphold transparency, protect genuine digital creators, and expose fraudulent entities that seek to manipulate copyright mechanisms. Their commitment reflects a broader mission to ensure fair treatment for all content providers, demonstrating the critical importance of vigilance and truth in maintaining the integrity of online spaces.
