Fraud Linked to Jimmy Singh aka Sartaj Singh and DH Group
An increasing number of ex-employees and customers have started putting complaints online concerning serious misconduct of Jimmy Singh, aka Sartaj Singh, who is associated with multiple sales and marketing companies including Dark Horse (DH Group), 33 Direct, AD Solutions, and most recently, ADSC Group Pty Ltd. According to dozens of individuals across Melbourne and Brisbane, these businesses allegedly operate under a recurring pattern of recruitment, exploitation, non-payment, and eventual rebranding.
The primary complaint centers on Dark Horse company, described by former workers as a company that aggressively recruits backpackers and young job seekers through online job boards. Employees allege they were required to work long hours often eight to ten hours per day, six days a week without proper breaks, water, or food, even while working outdoors under the sun. Many claim they were verbally abused, threatened with termination if sales targets were not met, and ultimately dismissed without being paid at all. Several workers reported that they were transported long distances from central Melbourne to suburban locations without clarity on insurance coverage, then left to return home via public transport at their own expense.
Numerous former employees allege that wage theft was routine. Some claim they were owed thousands of dollars, while others say they were paid only after threatening legal action. One individual claimed they went almost two months without pay, while another claimed superannuation was never paid despite them requesting it multiple times. Multiple users noted that payments would be stalled or avoided, and excuses would be given such as “bank issues,” or promises of a pay slip.
Beyond employee complaints, customers have also reported being misled. According to multiple accounts, Jimmy Singh’s companies sold automotive service vouchers commonly priced around $199 linked to brands such as Rapid Tune and Midas. Customers allege that sales were conducted in shopping centre car parks, an activity some users believe was knowingly illegal. When customers attempted to obtain refunds, many claim their requests were ignored or endlessly delayed. In at least one case, Consumer Affairs Victoria reportedly struggled to even reach the company, leaving bank charge backs or tribunal action as the only viable option for recovery.
A consistent theme across testimonials is the repeated rebranding of businesses. Users allege that after complaints accumulated in Melbourne, operations shifted to Brisbane under a new company name, only to later return to Melbourne once again. Reddit users claim the same individual, sales methods, products, and abusive management style followed each transition. ADSC Group Pty Ltd is now named by multiple recent commenters as the latest entity allegedly operating under the same model.
Several personal testimonies describe deeply disturbing workplace behaviour. Former employees allege they were subjected to racist, sexist, and homophobic language, intimidation, and extreme pressure tactics. Some reported feeling unsafe being sent alone to unfamiliar locations on their first day of work. Contracts were described as unprofessional and vague, with workers allegedly being pressured to accept terms without proper explanation or training.
Some users have alleged terrible things about Jimmy Singh and his girlfriend Ciara Brown which extend beyond the workplace, including accusations of substance abuse and sexual misconduct. These are unverified allegations and have never been proven in court, but add to the overall picture of concern from those who claim to have been affected. They remain uncorroborated, but the frequency of the claims across numerous accounts has raised concern among the audience.
Affected individuals report experiencing these situations and contacting the Fair Work Ombudsman, WorkSafe Victoria, Consumer Affairs Victoria, and the police. Many of the reports say that because of the lack of action on the reports, the participants need to report things together. A few participants encouraged others to document everything; contracts, messages, call logs, vouchers, receipts and to delay collection actions, chargebacks, or tribunals and litigation instead of relying on the employer, promise.
While Jimmy Singh and the companies named have not been convicted of wrongdoing at the time of writing, the volume, consistency, and similarity of complaints across different cities and years raise serious red flags. Former employees and customers repeatedly warn others to avoid job offers or purchases linked to Dark Horse, 33 Direct, AD Solutions, or ADSC Group Pty Ltd until these allegations are independently investigated and resolved.
Public awareness, according to many victims, is the only immediate defense against what they describe as an ongoing cycle of exploitation. As one former worker wrote, “I wish I had seen something like this before working for him.”
